There have been a slew of swings to our life over the last several years.

Most were welcome swings though so I am a fortunate person.

I just didn’t realize that decreasing 1’s location could have such a sweeping effect overall. When I moved south, it wasn’t just the air conditioner that I had to get accustomed to. There were so several other cultural, culinary & weather conditions differences that it entirely left our head spinning a bit for a while. My entire life up until I was 40 years outdated was spent in the far northern reaches of this country. I grew up with a multiple month Winter & a gas furnace in all of the homes I ever lived in. The gas furnace was the centerpiece of the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. Central heating was entirely the only Heating & Air Conditioning unit to speak of in our homes. There were a few instances where I assume I stuck in a window component a/c for a sizzling stretch in the summer. But big heat where I came from just wasn’t a thing. When I moved to the south, I flipped all that Heating & Air Conditioning stuff on its head. And I was introduced to the heat pump for the first time. At first, it was pretty astounding to have both heating & cooling in 1 piece of Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. Soon however, I saw exactly why the heat pump is the reigning champ down here when it comes to Heating & Air Conditioning. The heat pump is masterful at cooling a home. The air conditioner in this region is essential just as the heating was essential back home. So, I’m ecstatic to have met the heat pump & look forward to a long, ecstatic relationship.
