When you are going camping it is usually so that you can have fun & relax.

Both of us prefer to take the youngsters at least various times each summer.

Our family does not own a camper & we simply set up tents each time we go. The concern with that is the fact that you can hear every little sound around you. This makes sleeping certainly strenuous at times. Most of the campgrounds that we go to are set up for families with activities for the youngsters to do. This is great while in the afternoon, however if you have a little 1 that you are trying to get to sleep & the people in the next arena are noisy, it is a real problem… I know that people in a sizable camper or RV don’t know of this because their rigs are insulated to buffer outside noises. I remember 1 camping trip last year where the camper next to us ran the a/cs non stop. Each time the unit cycled on it sounded prefer a jet engine starting up. Again, while in the afternoon this was not an issue, however, when you are trying to sleep, it is certainly hard. I would wake up each time & hope that it wouldn’t wake the youngsters. I asked the owner of the camper if something was wrong with his Heating & Air Conditioning system & he said it was working fine, and he said that his camper was cool & comfortable. Well, let me tell you, it was not fine. Both of us were cheerful when it came time to pack up & head lake beach house where we could get a wonderful night’s sleep again.
