Some people take budgeting a tad bit too far.

I enjoy clipping coupons occasionally, and am not afraid to be frugal so I can save up some cash, but there are limits. My best pal Monica calls herself a drastic saver, but to me she is just plain crazy. Don’t get me wrong I care about her to death, but I do not understand most of her choices in life. Why would somebody actually endure such discomfort on a regular basis to save such a small amount of money? To me that is what cash is for, to spend on things that make your life a great deal better! Sure I could save a great deal of cash every month if I stopped using the air conditioner machine, but why would I do that? I could be irritated with a few more bucks in the bank, or use those bucks to run the air conditioning machine and truly enjoy myself a whole lot more. Monica will only work her central cooling machine for a single hour each day, that is all she allows herself. She basically says that a single hour of cooling is enough to take the edge off, and cool her bedroom enough to get some sleep. Of course overnight her residence starts heating up again, and she is soaked with sweat by the time she wakes up. She says it works for her though. Of course she also doesn’t run the AC machine in her car, so anytime both of us go anywhere I insist on driving. When the summer seasons get extremely hot, I notice that Monica starts fishing for invites, to come over and hang out with my air conditioner machine.
