People tend to guess that just because I live way up here in the mountains that I am primitive or something! Listen here, just because I prefer to hunt plus fish for my food, plus grow my own crops, doesn’t make me a primitive by any means.

I likely have a lot of the same tech you have in your dwelling, but on top of that I can also live a self satisfactory lifestyle plus not have to rely on anyone for my necessities. I have electricity, and a backup generator for emergency situations, despite the fact that I can still survive separate from it. I like having wireless internet, cable tv, plus an air conditioner appliance, but separate from power I can go on without it all just fine. I have a central Heating plus A/C appliance that provides me with heating plus cooling, but that is far from my only source of heating. I have plenty of ways of heating the chalet up separate from electrical power of any type, even if I do lose a lot of my creature comforts. I don’t need an air conditioner appliance to survive, but several months in the year I do need heat to stay alive. I always keep a large 3 month wood supply for the wood furnace, just in case I need to rely on it. I never have lost power for a long while, but if do I would just miss a few tv shows, plus easily get a bit sizzling with no AC appliance. Don’t get me wrong though, I enjoy a cooling system as much as the next person, despite the fact that I won’t have a fit if I have to go separate from using one.
