I learned a pretty good lesson in portable heating and air conditioning products recently.

I was at my local discount store and I seen they had a bunch of portable space heaters for sale.

They were ultra cheap! I could not believe how low the price was. Naturally, I jumped on it because I never had a portable space heater before and I heard they had many benefits to them. The main being that you could run a portable space heater in place of the central heating system when in a room, and save a lot of money on energy use. I’m always up for saving money! So I bought this very cheap portable space heater and brought it home. Let me tell you that this thing was horrible! I could not believe how weak the heating was and how it barely even heated a small section of a room. I don’t know if this thing was broken or what. So I took it back to the store and got another. The replacement portable space heater did the exact same thing! It was evident that the brand of portable space heater was awful and this was why they were so cheap. I returned it and just demanded a full refund. The lesson I learned is that when it comes to portable heating and air conditioning equipment, if it seems too cheap and too good to be true, it probably is. They also had portable air conditioning systems there as well. However, after this experience I will not even bother trying one of those!
