If you don’t have that sort of Heating, Ventilation & A/C then you are risking some real discomfort.

The Summer hits difficult in this section with a combination of heat plus humidity that require an answer. My parents somehow made it through these summers with out modern Heating, Ventilation & A/C when they were children. They grew up in a new home that had an evaporative cooler which cools the air a bit but is in no way anything like a heat pump. The use of fans was an essential component to having a swamp cooler. For our family, both of us are lucky enough to have a Heating, Ventilation & A/C which not only cools the air but is reducing the humidity level in our new home while doing so. Balancing the humidity level with the Heating, Ventilation & A/C helps maintain an environment where mold growth is mitigated. However, I still like t try plus save some money on the Heating, Ventilation & A/C. I have even considered not paying for Heating, Ventilation & A/C service any longer. The two of us normally have the Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech come out to inspect plus service the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment in the Spring plus again in the fall. Doing this allows the Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech to get the Heating, Ventilation & A/C primed for the immense cooling effort in the summer. And then, he can check plus service once that effort is complete in the late fall. It’s an pressing to take care of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C as it is elemental to our life plus comfort. So, I have consistently resisted the urge to save money by foregoing it.
