I can’t even imagine quite what normal will look like if it ever actually exists again.

This year has been nothing if not the complete opposite of what I consider to be normal.

It’s been chaotic, tragic and beyond frustrating for me. Primarily that is because of the Covid 19 situation and all the cascading effects that have resulted from it. Being inside the HVAC comfort of my home for the better part of an entire year is not normal. But, it was the right thing to do for me given my health condition. Plus, I would never, ever want to unknowingly spread this thing were I to be asymptomatic. However, our staying at home has resulted in plenty of economic strain for our family. We simply don’t have the income we once did. That means we had to really be careful with our spending. Targeting the HVAC this summer was a big part. We wanted to be sure that we saved on the HVAC since we were home to manage it more closely this summer. We succeeded in that in a big way. The HVAC kilowatt hours were held to a minimum which saved us a bunch of money. However, we were distressed to recently find out that our HVAC needed a repair. The HVAC tech came out, as he normally does, in late fall for seasonal HVAC maintenance. That’s when this repair was caught. Instinctively, I thought perhaps we might save on this by getting someone else to do it. Thankfully, I came to my senses real quick because nobody but a licensed HVAC professionals will be working on my HVAC.
