I have an older electric gas furnace in my basement, which does myself and others pretty well for all of my heating needs in my house; However, this electric gas furnace has been making way too much noise as of lately.

Everytime the electric gas furnace turns on, you hear the banging and kicking kind of sound.

Almost as if some child is down in our basement using the gas furnace as a basketball hoop! I knew this wasn’t right, and when several weeks of this went by and nothing changed, I decided to make that dreaded iphone call to my local heating and a/c corporation to send a single of their best certified heating and a/c specialists out to check on this electric gas furnace of mine that was being so noisy! The heating and cooling business was able to get a heating and a/c specialist out within twenty more than three minutes, so that was very great timing in my opinion, then when the heating and a/c specialist went and looked at the noisy electric gas furnace in my basement, he said to myself and others that this was the tell tail sign that the electric gas furnace was at the end of its life, and that I would have no choice however to either update the electric gas furnace, or just get rid of it all together and go with a brand new, modern and very pricey central oil furnace… It would be very pricey because of the type condo I have. That’s a whole other story that I will not get into at this very moment in time. I am going to go with just replacing the old electric gas furnace.
