Most teenagers growing up hated going to school.

• And of course, I was one of those teenagers.

But not for the reason you may think. I truly hated going to school not cause it was boring & felt like going to a taxing working task & not getting paid for it, however because the school I went to had lousy heating & a/c! The lousy a/c I could sort of deal with as it was only the Last month of the fall semester all of us even needed central a/c. But the heating was a major issue! I would go to school & recognize like I was resting in an ice box instead of a classroom in the winter! It was truly horrible! I don’t even guess how the professors & other teenagers could handle it. And I am surprised someone never called the board of education to complain. But these were unusual times as well. Times where they could get away with things like lousy central heating & a/c & no one would say a peep. They would just complain when they had to. I was so cheerful when my final year of school came. I knew I would never have to deal with lousy heating & a/c ever again if I didn’t want to! I said to myself, that if I went to get a task in the real world & they ended up having lousy heat & cooling system in there, I would complain. And if they didn’t maintenance it I would simply quit & find another task where they had quality heating & a/c!
