When I heard the HVAC system making a high pitch noise, I thought there was something seriously wrong with the HVAC… I panicked and decided to call the HVAC supplier right away.

I really should have just thought about everything and at least had a look at the HVAC equipment myself, however I didn’t do that.

When the HVAC professional arrived, he took a look at everything! The wonderful news is that there was nothing seriously wrong with the HVAC, but there was a problem with the maintenance. It turned out that I forgot to change the air filter, and this was causing a lot of unnecessary pressure on the HVAC system, but because the air filter was clogged up, it was what was causing the high pitch noise I was hearing. The HVAC specialist said that I really had to keep on top of the air filter fluctuations if I wanted my HVAC system to remain in wonderful working condition, however so the HVAC specialist changed the air filter for myself and others and he also charged myself and others a great deal of money just to do that. I felt really stupid because I paid a bunch of money just to have an HVAC professional change my air filter, something anybody could absolutely do. I l acquired a overpriced lesson though, and that’s to never forget to change those air filters. I recognize that noise was love the HVAC system was crying for help because the system wasn’t able to breathe. The HVAC specialist said if I would have gone much longer with that clogged air filter, I would have experienced some real trouble with my HVAC system.
