I wasn’t so sure about this move. Now, that I am in the middle of the most brutal winter, I am even less sure of my decision to move so far north. Initially, my reservations over taking a task that would detach me from the south were primarily family and culture based not the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. I had never lived in the north so, I didn’t guess if I would get along with people. Right away, once I got here, I could tell people were really different. But, it didn’t take long at all to see that people around here are awesome. They do things differently a bit and they sure do sound different. But, they are open and moderate people. Then, when I least expected it, the cold started creeping in. And it wasn’t even the middle of November yet. My up-to-date friends were super helpful in getting me to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people to come out and prep the gas furnace for winter. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people were terrific and provided me some helpful pointers on how to keep the utility bill from getting crazy. I followed what they said and made sure the apartment was as tight as it could be. But, I was not prepared to deal with an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C setting love this. Inside my home, I just don’t assume all that moderate unless I am in layers. This is a guy who spent all his Winter time inside with flip flops and shorts on. That sort of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C output would end up breaking the bank. I just hope that I can make it through the Winter time and start to actemperature to this temperature.
