Lately, I have been trying to save money plus I was amazed at how much of the air conditioning program I have been using.

I know it’s not actually something you think about that much, however when I legitimately focused our attention solely on our heating plus cooling system, I realized how much of it I was legitimately using. I had our a/c on almost 24/7 in the summertime plus I had the heating unit on almost 24/7 on in the winter! Not only was this actually exhausting for our AC plus gas furnace, however it was burning through our electricity bills! So, in an attempt to keep our bills down, I decided I was going to try to find alternate methods to keeping myself cool. Some of the methods I used were our mini battery operated handheld fan, wet washcloths plus opening windows to allow a cooling breeze to enter our home. Admittedly, while it was enough to get me by, I was not gratified. The handheld fan did legitimately little unless it was directly in front of your face, the washcloths became boiling way too rapidly plus opening the windows allowed bugs in our home, some of which were miserable wasps. I knew this wasn’t going to work, so I decided to only use our a/c unit for parts of the day, plus only a couple of hours at the time. I combined the alternative methods of keeping myself cool with the actual cooling system, plus this seemed to make a nice middle ground. Now I wasn’t burning all of our money, however I wasn’t overheating either.
