Living in this region, where the heat is intense for months plus months, you get to be a real fan of the heat pump. I have never had anything else in any of the homes that I have owned. For some context, the 1 that just was updated had a SEER rating of 9. The difference is remarkable. The savings on the utility bill are actually significant. Plus, the refrigerant it uses is eco friendly. The summers, as I’ve stated, can get so incredibly tepid that the only relief is inside. While all of us are so thankful to have the new heat pump, all of us still do our best to help lessen the load. There is a smart control component which precisely manages the Heating plus A/C kilowatt consumption. Both of us also employ auto shades throughout the lake house to stop the direct sun heating. The heat pump also heats our lake house during our mildest of winter. But even better, the heat pump has a valve that really heats up the water in our tepid tub!!
