When the two of us decided to go looking for a new apartment to buy, the two of us had different outlooks on it. I was more interested in the arts things, and my spouse was more interested in the building structure and quality. I definitely wanted a fireplace. I have never had a fireplace, and I have always wanted 1. I have imagined myself all curled up on a freezing night studying a book by the fireplace, with my golden retriever by my feet. No matter that the two of us don’t have a golden retriever! One thing at a time; Well, my spouse insisted that a strong gas furnace and new Heating and A/C system, in fact, is the most important thing related to keeping warm. I definitely do think that a fireplace can just be used as a heater. I mean, isn’t that what they used to use back in the morning? My spouse insisted that the reason the two of us don’t still use fireplaces as oil furnaces is because they are energy inefficient and a exhausting replace for a gas furnace. I guess that may be true, but you never learn books about a guy and spouse curling up together next to the gas furnace! Anyway, I have looked into it, and even the realtor says that a fireplace is just a feel-good thing to have in a house. It serves no useful purpose at all. I even secretly asked an Heating and A/C professional, and he showed myself and others a study on how much waste there is with a fireplace, then so, I think I will just have to confess defeat and begin to care more about getting a relaxing gas furnace, then a fireplace isn’t a heater, but I still like it.
