Reading the owners manual

In light of the coronavirus, I have decided that I need to upgrade our indoor air cleaner- which, up until now, has consisted of occasionally changing our air filter.

I have since switched from our MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) air filter to a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Absorbing) air filter.

The HEPA air filters are the same quality of air filters that are used in hospitals. While the HEPA air filters do slow the air flow from the (slightly) I think it’s well worth the small cost. I have also bought a dehumidifier to help keep the indoor air conditions at optimal levels to avoid viruses as well as bacteria. My Heating as well as A/C provider has also come by as well as performed a ductwork cleaning on our Heating as well as A/C system’s ductwork. In addition to a ductwork cleaning, this included duct sealing to ensure air cleanliness. I take our indoor air conditions easily seriously as well as hope that others take this global pandemic as an occasion to do better. Indoor air quality is an important factor in stopping the spread of this virus. I hope that not only individuals, but corporations as well as venues of work take a little extra time to make sure that their indoor air conditions is at the best it can be. If anyone here has any other recommendations for improving indoor air conditions, please let myself and others know. I am ecstatic to take on any additional precautions. And if you have any questions about how to improve your indoor air conditions, don’t hesitate to reach out to myself and others directly! Thank you.
