If I take the blankets off, I have a very difficult time sleeping because of the lack of weight

My wifey plus I have extremely different opinions when it comes to the temperature of our residence. I wouldn’t say that I adore freezing temperatures, but I definitely like our residence to feel very comfortable. I adore our residence to be 68 degrees, plus I like to use our a/c machine or our oil furnace to keep it that temperature always. In my wifey’s opinion, that temperature is definitely freezing. If she had her way, she would never crank on the a/c machine at all… During the Wintertime, she prefers the heating machine to keep the loft at 70-80 degrees, which is entirely warm, and we have been arguing about our HVAC machines for a long time. After she had the baby, I made the choice to give in plus let her keep the heating machine at a higher temperature. During the afternoon, it isn’t a very big deal to have the oil furnace run more, but the only time that I struggle with the warmer temperatures is when I am trying to get some sleep at night. I have consistently slept with the a/c machine running plus heavy blankets resting on my body. Nowadays, the oil furnace is keeping our residence entirely overheated, plus I sweat with our blankets resting on me. If I take the blankets off, I have a very difficult time sleeping because of the lack of weight. If I try to turn the oil furnace down, my wifey easily complains about how freezing cold it is. I haven’t been sleeping well for the last few weeks, plus it is the fault of the heating machine. I don’t even know what to do about this situation.
