When my partner and I were looking for a lake house to buy, we were exhausted from looking so much and not finding precisely what we wanted for our budget.

Then, we stumbled across this older property that was huge and the price was surprisingly low, and we checked the locale out with the realtor and it seemed incredibly nice inside.

We couldn’t believe that it was for such a low cost and also that nobody purchased it yet. There was even a recently purchased ductless mini-split HVAC installed in the household, which I thought was great. Then so when we were living there for a little while, we started to notice some bizarre things. We would often hear some kind of banging noises coming from the walls and then random things would turn up missing. There were a number of times when I would set our keys down right on the table, I would turn around and come back and the keys would be somewhere else in the house entirely! At least I never lost the keys but other things would move around too. My partner said it sounded like the sounds were coming from the HVAC duct and I was saying that it was bizarre because we weren’t using the ancient HVAC duct. We even thought there might be critters in there making the noises but we called an exterminator to check everything out and there were no critters, just some dirty HVAC duct. The HVAC duct was so filthy, I was thankful that we had a ductless mini-split HVAC! I finally decided to install security cameras to see what was happening in the house. We actually caught the rocking chair rocking on its own, small things being knocked around in a guest bedroom, and we could see our locale was haunted. It was no wonder nobody wanted to buy the locale.
