Any homeowner who lives in the chilly part of the country that my family and I live know the importance of having a solid heating source.

Back when we were younger and our kids were still in the toddler phase, my wife and I relied on a standard heating furnace for years. It did a great job keeping the house warm without any doubt, but after seven or eight years it started to show signs of breaking down. We had been flirting with getting radiant flooring installed for awhile, and now with the lack of heating in our home we had the perfect opportunity. Ever since we have had the radiant flooring installed in our home we have seen a massive improvement not just in the heating quality, but in our everyday home life in general. The air quality has improved in a big way, there are no longer cold spots in the home, and our monthly heating bills are more or less nonexistent. With how much our kids seem to love the radiant flooring I honestly don’t know if they would have gotten by in the days when we had a standard furnace. Perhaps there would have been a full blown riot or something, I have no idea! What I do know is that making the change to radiant flooring was one of the best choices that my wife and I could have made for our family and I would recommend all other parents out there with the means to do so to make the change as soon as they can.
