My mom and dad got together because of a great air conditioner. So each of them were raised in a farming community… My father’s family was able to get 1 of the first air conditioner systems on the market… They got it set up in their home but only used it for meal time after work. This was before any family could access any type of cooling machine. My father became friends with my mother at the local school plus invited her over to the loft a lot, however at first she just hung out as well as worked with him, but 1 day she was able to stay for a meal, and she got to see the a/c for the first time! Instead of leaving right away, my mother stayed longer. A part of it was to feel the quality cooling, another part was to talk to my father more. They started bonding over those long evening chats. After this, she wanted to come over to see my dad all the time. As time progressed my mom even helped out with a lot of the farming jobs. She still had to do her own stuff at home, but wished to spend more time with my dad. At first she didn’t have cooling in her home. Eventually she told her parents to get the a/c installed. After this, the two families became wonderful friends as well as spent a lot of time together. Eventually my parents started dating plus fell in love with each other. I always thought it was a neat story about how they loved the cooling system plus each other’s company. They then fell in love over it.
