As you can imagine, there are all kinds of scam artists attempting to get the best of everyone around here. The most recent scam I found was an ad in our local paper saying that they were offering air duct in addition to air duct cleaning for only $29.95! Just the price in itself screamed sales scam to me! Remember all those crazy commercials where the gadgets that no one on earth wanted to buy were that price? I was interested to see if anyone really believed this advertisement was real, so I went online to look for the independent heating plus A/C corporation that was offering this. I wasn’t shocked to see how numerous people believed this ad in addition to got scammed! Then, nobody never shows up. A few days later, you discover your debit card information has been stolen in addition to you’re getting thousands of dollars worth of charges. The police are onto this guy, however but the newspaper hasn’t pulled the ad yet! I am waiting for the lawsuites at the local paper to come.
