Having good air quality is extremely important

If COVID has taught me something of importance, it’s that I need to be prepared for basically everything. I definitely get that there was no way for myself and others to predict a global pandemic, but at the same time, the particulars don’t matter too much when it comes to the grand scheme of things. If it were some odd virus, for example, or if it were some other crippling crisis, our core needs generally remain the same. We always need good water to drink, all of us need food to eat, all of us need shelter, in addition to all of us need heat to survive. These are things that all of us can easily prepare for, just in the general sense. In the case of COVID, indoor air conditions also became a resource that was in relatively high demand! It could be that I overreacted, however I ordered a case of 24 air filters for our HVAC machine, just so I won’t have to be bothered about it for a while. They easily suggest that I change the air filter in our Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C machine every 2 to 3 months. I figure even if I change it once per month, they will last a couple years. I was also thinking that I could double them up, in addition to slide 2 air filters into the same slot, in addition to possibly it would give myself and others twice the protection? If I’m being entirely honest I don’t understand the general science behind air filters, so I don’t actually know for certain how much they take out of the air. I don’t have to understand everything about air filters though, because using a fresh air filter in the HVAC machine is something like wearing a fresh face mask when I head outside — every little bit helps.
