Smoke alarms and your heating plan

Smoke alarms and your heating plan

Smoke alarms are needed in all homes… It is required by law in most locales, and although smoke alarms periodically save lives, they can also be quite a pain. In our case, I have a easily powerful central heating and cooling system system, and because our central heating and cooling system plan is so powerful, it periodically sets off the smoke alarm, how this happens, is when the temperature control comes on, the central heating and cooling system plan literally blasts the air right on to the smoke alarm, and the smoke alarm them mistakes the central heating and cooling system plan for smoke! It took myself and others a little bit to easily figure this out. It was when our wifey finally noticed the different times the smoke alarm kept going off, that it was right when the central heating and cooling system plan clicked on. All of us tried setting the temperature control a little lower for the heating, since the heating is truly what causes the problem. And, that did not even work. All of us called our local heating and cooling business about it too, to see if they had any useful advise about it, and they could only advise that both of us close the air vent that is right by the smoke alarm that it was setting off. The other choice was to transfer the smoke alarm! But, the way that the smoke alarm is mounted into the ceiling, it would take a professional to do it. I thought about asking the Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C corporation, however they only deal in heating and cooling system, not in smoke alarms!
