I wasn’t actually expecting to be inspected with asthma at 35.

  • My assumption was that most people are looked at with asthma as children, since respectfully the symptoms manifest at an early age.

For example, my sister was inspected at four-years-old and has had a rescue inhaler on hand from that time moving forward. During the instances where she had bronchitis or the flu, she had to use her inhaler on a weekly basis. When I caught the same illnesses, my reactions were similar to others in my family. Every one of us simply didn’t have the kind of respiratory complications that besiege my little sister. As anyone might imagine, I was taken off guard when my nurse told me that my recent uptick in pollen irritations was due to late onset asthma. I was shocked by this suggestion. But once I started taking the medicine that she prescribed me, I abruptly felt less restricted in my airwaves. I could clear my throat and breathe without any wheezing. Rather than only having cold symptoms, I was experiencing the effects of my asthma. I do not like using this inhaler everyday now, but at least I’m getting some form of relief later on. In order to take this 1 step further, I consulted with my heating and cooling business and they suggested buying an media air cleaner for my room. They’re small and plug directly into the wall. The 1 my Heating and Air Conditioning company was selling features UV lights and a HEPA filter. Between that and a carbon filter for odors, this media air cleaner is perfect for pulling out any harmful particles in the air. My inhaler actually helps, but my modern media air cleaner is what sets me straight in the long run. I keep it on at all times and have observed a huge decrease in my dust sensitivity symptoms.
