I won’t talk about it if he won’t

At the end of summertime last year, I told our hubby that it was long past time to buy a new window AC unit.

Our window AC component was 10 years old and wasn’t working well enough to cool the house anymore, if it ever did.

Over the past many or several hot seasons, the people I was with and I probably used the window AC much more frequently. I suppose the additional use has sincerely worn out the old machine. At the end of last summertime, I told our hubby one day that the people I was with and I should buy a new window AC component when I knew everything was on sale at the end of the season. He really did not want to waste the money on something that was going to stand in the garage for a year before it was hot again. I couldn’t get him to budge for one second with his money. I guess he is kicking himself over that decision now. He stood his ground about buying a cheap window AC component online. He found a single AC system that was supposed to be barely used. He paid $250 for the window AC. My hubby never checked the box to make sure the AC was honestly in nice shape. When he got it to the house and took it out of the box, the people I was with and I realized that he got totally duped. The box had an AC component inside, however the thing was so seriously dinged up, rusty, and ready for the junkyard. I went to the store the next day and picked both of us out a brand new AC with a warranty. When I came back through the door with the new equipment, our hubby silently stared ahead and did not say a single word.
