Workout with personal trainer is best part of weekend

My friend Sarah is getting married.

I was required to participate in a weekend long bachelorette party for her.

It wasn’t all that much fun for me. I was forced to spend a ton of money to do activities I didn’t want to do. We went on a boat tour, did karaoke in a bar and went dancing at clubs that served overpriced drinks. One of the bridesmaids decided we should all do a workout as a group. We paid for a personal trainer to show up at our airbnb to guide us through a class. I kind of expected to hate the group workout. I figured the fitness expert wouldn’t challenge me. The workout was the only activity I enjoyed on the whole trip. The fitness expert led us through a series of cool stretches and exercises. When she realized we had a pool available, we moved the work into the water. She had us running, hopping, jumping and lunging in the water rather than simply swimming laps. I had no idea a workout could be that much fun as well as strenuous. After we finished the pool session with the personal trainer and I got out of the pool, I realized how fatigued my legs were. I was sore, tired and felt great about my level of exertion. The other girls said that they’d had enough of working out. For me, I searched out the fitness expert after the weekend was over and signed up for her group training sessions at the core progression. I am looking forward to keeping up with the work outs. I think it will be a great thing for me.
