Trying a virtual group fitness class

Trying a virtual group fitness class

With the impact of the COVID virs, I have a lot more time on my hands.

I work entirely from home now, which eliminates time spent driving to and from the office.

I have figured out how to get my groceries delivered to my door. I have most every service handled virtually. I live on my own and don’t really know what to do with myself. Prior to the virus I was starting to consider investing in a gym membership. None of the gyms are open right now and when they start up again, the restrictions sound really inconvenient. There is a body and wellness center that requires everyone to wear a mask during the entire work out. No one is allowed to use the showers anymore. That sounds like a terrible work out experience! I have searched around online and I came across a personal trainer that is offering virtual fitness classes. I can take a group fitness training class or a private one on one training session with a certified fitness instructor. I assume it would be sort of uncomfortable to be the only person the fitness instructor is working with. I have figured out which of the available times work for me and I am fine with the cost of the fitness class. I am hoping it will be fun. I’ll need to link my laptop to my television to take advantage of a larger screen. I also plan to invest in some better work out equipment in case the trainer requires the use of gear. I think a yoga mat, some free weights and possibly a jump rope should be enough. Hopefully the class is just as beneficial virtually as it would be in person. If not, I will need to keep looking for something more to do.
