Mini split system helps with house extension

Mini split system helps with house extension

When I moved into my current home I really didn’t first see there being any major issues.

I was excited about the location, the house amenities, and me proximity to nature.

Everything seems clean and comfortable inside and I had no reason to be concerned about the living conditions. Then, the air temperature started changing. Suddenly, I realized that my bedroom in particular was much warmer than the rest of the house. It simply seemed like there wasn’t enough high-quality air conditioning getting into my bedroom through the central cooling system. I was confused about why there would be such a discrepancy in the air flow into my bedroom, and continually made sure that my air vents were open entirely. It wasn’t until the neighbors told us that the house was built out of several extensions that I understood the central heating and cooling problem. My ductwork was inefficiently connected to the central cooling system. I thought back on the last house that I lived in. I know that house was also partially one large extension, but the indoor air quality was never questionable in those circumstances. It seemed like there was always plenty of hot and cold air in the large addition of the house. I called my friend and asked if there was something special about their central heating and cooling system at that home. She replied casually, the central HVAC system was fine, but it was really the mini split ductless heating and cooling system in their addition that kept everything extremely comfortable. I guess this ductless heating and cooling system was the answer to my problems. Too bad it kept the indoor air so comfortable that I had never noticed it before.
