I certainly just worked hard to get where I am at because I hated sharing a workspace with so many other people

The office I work for definitely motivates the employees by the offices available. When I first started out I was in an incubator office as a grunt. There was a long table with chairs in front of each computer monitor. 10 people would be seated at the table on a single side with 10 other people across from them. I could not move at all without hitting my neighbor next to me or in front of me. It was sort of a terrible experience. A lot of the people would text off the computers to people just a few chairs down. Most people would take personal calls and talk right next to my head. I worked entirely a lot to move from an incubator office to an actual office setup. Two promotions after, I was able to get my own office space away from everyone. I have my own desk, chair and door. I can shut the door on everyone and the shades to keep them from looking at me. I can take task calls where no person can hear and stretch my legs out without hitting any neighbor. Most people believe I was a suck up and that is how I moved up so fast in the corporation ladder. I certainly just worked hard to get where I am at because I hated sharing a workspace with so many other people. I bet the corporation does incubator offices for rent to motivate people and also save currency on office space rental costs. The corporation only has to keep a few office spaces on hand.
